If you dug Fugazi then you'll totally dig the Messthetics...

The killer rhythm section from Fugazi, Brendan Canty and Joe Lally, shared the same stage together recently for the first time since 2002 in their new collaborative project: The Messthetics.

As much as I was a major admirer of singer Ian MacKaye, it was the synchronized and almost orchestral combination of drums and bass formed by Canty and Lally that truly endeared me to Fugazi.

The Messthetics do not disappoint while bringing back one of the most original and creative rhythm tandems in music.
